Looking forward to working with Jim Hood today. Why?
Because we're working on a super cool interactive on-line course that will help students with their career decisions.
Very excited to be selected to help with this project.
Stay tuned for more updates!!

You know there are people that we work with that we wouldn't call our friends, and friends that we couldn't work with - but then there is this incredible group - co-workers, mentors, and best of friends!
23 years later, many moves, many jobs and many life events later... this is my go to group, my HR brain trust, my idea incubator, and my lifeline. Sorry Sue - wish you were here!
Wishing each of you this definition of "team"...

Tuesday Thought: Job Seekers, Do Your Homework!
I'm amazed how many candidates can't answer the interview question, "What do you know about our company?"
Many applicants are just applying to mass amounts of job openings. Some are even paying virtual assistants to apply for jobs for them.
The problem is… the applicants are caught off guard when contacted for a job interview - or worse yet can't answer that question during the interview because they don't know anything about the company.
Don't be caught with a "canned answer". Do your homework - google the company; visit their website; and check out the company reviews on Glassdoor.
