When you ask about seasonal jobs – the first answer is usually – holiday retail. But temporary seasonal jobs come in many more varieties than holiday retail. In the sunny south, the season for temporary work is Winter. In the north, the season for additional employees is in the Summer. Most seasonal temporary work offers low pay, so choose the work that gives you the most pleasure.
Beyond retail, think national parks, zoos, marinas, golf courses, transportation, hotels and restaurants. Beyond tourism, think healthcare with visiting nurses, and education as in tutoring.
