Used to be, selling included making cold calls and impressing customers with your knowledge of “You need this. Or You have to have that”. But technology has changed consumer spending habits– customers now are irritated with cold calls and have the opportunity to do their own online homework on products and services.
But this change is not a bad thing, why?
Because Sales Representatives now have to start by listening to the consumers’ needs first. Sales is more solution based now more than ever.
