Been super busy with mock job interviews lately. I find a common problem with candidates taking their answers too far. Keep your answers specific, concise, and to the point. Ask if they want an example or further explanation. Turn off your rehearsed “auto-pilot” and fully listen to the interviewer’s question and watch for your interviewer’s non-verbal clues.

To my Clients in Sales – Refresh and reflect the customers’ needs in your resume and profile.
Used to be, selling included making cold calls and impressing customers with your knowledge of “You need this. Or You have to have that”. But technology has changed consumer spending habits– customers now are irritated with cold calls and have the opportunity to do their own online homework on products and services.
But this change is not a bad thing, why?
Because Sales Representatives now have to start by listening to the consumers’ needs first. Sales is more solution based now more than ever.
Be sure to include in your resume and profiles this change and emphasis on problem-solving and building long term client relationships.

In keeping the "memory" in Memorial Day, Engage Employment Solutions, LLC will be closed on Monday, May 27th.

This doesn’t mean failure or being stagnant or resisting change. Rather, it means to look at the situation from a different perspective -realistically. See it for what it is, make decisions and move on.
And that's ok too. When that happens, career coaching is available to help you regain energy, focus and to start your next new career goal.
Write something about yourself. No need to be fancy, just an overview.
